* Prior to the year 2000, the California Department of Education did not create API scores if the number of students tested was less than 100. The American Indian Public Charter School (grades 6-8) has the highest API score of any school in Oakland. AIPCS has been selected for the Blue Ribbon award, given to the top 200 schools in the nation. More than 98% of the students are minorities, and more than 75% qualify for free/reduced lunch. |
American Indian Public Charter School II is modeled after American Indian Public Charter School. The 2007-2008 school year marks AIPCS II's first year. Test scores for AIPCS II will be available in late August. |
